Kevin Kreis
Founder & CEO
Kevin Kreis has been building IT solutions—and client trust—for nearly three decades. He began his career as a Y2K intern at a major Chicago hospital and went on to work in programming, systems support, and network management during the explosive .com boom. His early days in corporate and startup IT shaped both his technical expertise and his people-first mindset.
In 2005, Kevin founded KTS with one goal: to deliver dependable, no-nonsense technology support to professional service businesses and nonprofits across Chicagoland. Since then, he’s built long-term relationships with organizations of every shape and size—from real estate firms and law offices to schools and women’s shelters—always focused on making IT simple, secure, and effective.
Kevin’s leadership is rooted in responsiveness, transparency, and empathy. He believes no issue is “too small,” and he’s built a team culture around clear communication, fairness, and making clients feel heard. Internally, his team would tell you he’s the guy who’s always encouraging questions, welcoming feedback, and putting people first—both clients and staff.
He’s especially passionate about cybersecurity, compliance, and helping businesses navigate the constantly changing threat landscape without getting buried in tech jargon. Kevin and his team act as trusted IT partners, not just vendors—bringing strategic advice and personalized attention to every client they serve.
When he’s not untangling networks or solving breaches, Kevin is usually outdoors with his family, chasing after two teenage kids, golfing, fishing, or hunting down the perfect taco. He’s a self-declared taco snob, a big believer in giving back, and someone who still wakes up excited to face a new challenge every single day.
